SWAN 2 Concentrator Connections
NonStop S-Series Connection
The SWAN 2 concentrator connects to the NonStop S-series server using
fault-tolerant, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connections provided by one or two E4SAs,
FESAs, GESAs, or G4SAs.
NonStop S-Series I/O Enclosure Attached to Integrity
Nonstop NS-Series Server Connection
The SWAN 2 concentrator connection to a NonStop S-series I/O enclosure that is
attached to an Integrity NonStop server is the same as the NonStop S-Series
Connection; however, I/O multifunction 2 (IOMF 2) components must be installed in the
NonStop S-series enclosure. For more information about this configuration, see the the

Note. The data transfer rate is 10 Mbps for SWAN 2 when using an E4SA.
