Connect the Ethernet Cables
Identify the Correct Ethernet Ports
Make sure that the Ethernet cables connected to Ethernet ports A and B on a SWAN 2
concentrator are connected to the correct ports on the adapters.
If you ordered this SWAN 2 concentrator with a NonStop BladeSystem, Integrity
NonStop NS-series, or NonStop S-series server, the adapters and the adapter ports
used to connect this SWAN 2 concentrator are preconfigured by HP manufacturing.
If you ordered this SWAN 2 concentrator without a server, you must configure the
adapters and adapter port connections to this SWAN 2 concentrator. Refer to the WAN
Subsystem Configuration and Management Manual for more information.
The following figure shows the Ethernet ports on an E4SA that connect to a SWAN 2
concentrator. The E4SA has four Ethernet ports labeled ENET 0A, ENET 0B, ENET
1A, and ENET 1B.
