Power On the SWAN 2 Concentrator and Run the
Power-On Self-Test (POST)

WAN LB
(also known as
a CLIP)
Amber fault LED is lit. If the fault LEDs on all six WAN LBs stay
lit or continue flashing, the SWAN 2
concentrator should be replaced.
If the fault LED is lit on only one or some
of the WAN LBs:
1. Review Section 5, Servicing
SWAN 2 Concentrator
Components.
2. Unseat the WAN LB.
3. Reseat the WAN LB.
4. Recheck the fault LED status.
5. If the fault LED remains lit, refer to
View Alarms Using OSM or TSM
on
page 4-2.
LAN LB Amber fault LED is lit.
1. Review Section 5, Servicing
SWAN 2 Concentrator
Components.
2. Unseat the LAN LB.
3. Reseat the LAN LB.
4. Recheck the fault LED.
5. If the fault LED remains lit, refer to
View Alarms Using OSM or TSM
on
page 4-2.
LAN BIC Green LNK (link integrity) LED
is not lit.
1. Verify the link integrity at both the
local and remote Ethernet ports.
2. Check the cables by:
•
Replacing a suspected bad
cable with a known good cable.
•
Changing cable connections
between various endpoints to
isolate the location of the
failure.
