Executing the OSM or TSM Test Verify Action

The OSM or TSM Test Verify action requires you to perform tasks on the CLIP you are

testing before and after the action is executed. Note that TSM is not supported on

Integrity NonStop NS-series systems.

Before Executing the Test Verify Action

1. If there are WAN lines using the CLIP, you must stop them. Example 4-1 shows

how to stop two WAN lines named $X25L1 and $X25L2.

2. Stop the data link control (DLC) TASK objects on the CLIP. Example 4-2 shows

how to stop the DLC TASK objects on CLIP 1 for the SWAN 2 concentrator named

S01.

3. Terminate the operation of the CLIP. Example 4-3 shows how to abort CLIP 1 for

the SWAN 2 concentrator named S01.

After Executing the Test Verify Action

1. Restart the CLIP. Example 4-4 shows how to start CLIP 1 for the SWAN 2

concentrator named S01.

2. Restart the DLC TASK objects on the CLIP. Example 4-5 shows how to start the

DLC TASK objects on CLIP 1 of the SWAN 2 concentrator named S01.
