QUEST 2 Command Syntax
EXIT (interactive entry mode only)
causes exit from the QUEST2 session.
FORMAT
displays the format ID of the dump file.
At the command line interface, you would use the -iv parameter option rather
than the FORMAT parameter. In interactive mode you can use either, the iv
parameter or the FORMAT parameter.
TACL>quest2 -iv $systemname.volumename.filename
For example:
TACL>quest2 -iv $system.zwandump.D0123456
HWSTATUS (SWAN 2 CLIPdumps only/interactive entry mode only)
displays the status of the hardware components in a SWAN 2 adapter. The
HWSTATUS command is valid only for interactive mode of entry. This
information is displayed:
Track ID and Compaq part number of WANBOARD
Revision, Track ID, and Compaq part number of LAN BOARD 1
Revision, Track ID, and Compaq part number of CHASSIS
Revision, Track ID, and Compaq part number of POWER SUPPLY 2
Error Status (Component Status of FAN-A, FAN-B, POWER SUPPLY A,
POWER SUPPLY B, BATTERY, LAN path A, and LAN path B)
INFO
displays information about dump files.
At the command line interface, you would use the -ia parameter option rather
than the INFO parameter. In interactive mode you can use either, the io
parameter or the INFO parameter. See also the SHOWVPROCS (interactive
interface entry mode only) parameter options.
The command line interface syntax is as follows:
TACL>quest2 -ia $systemname.volumename.filename
For example:
TACL>quest2 -ia $system.zwandump.D0123456
Note. For this parameter, the parameter option in the command line interface mode of
entry (-ia) is not equivalent to the parameter option in the interactive mode of entry
(io). The -io option in the command line interface mode is equivalent to the
SHOWVPROCS parameter option.
