WANDUMP Command Example

WANLNCK
The WAN LINE Check (WANLNCK) program is run from the TACL prompt. This
program provides two tests:
WAN LINE Diagnostic Information Test
External Loopback Test
WAN LINE Diagnostic Information Test
The WAN LINE Diagnostic Information test checks the WAN infrastructure
configuration that supports WAN LINE using a command.
The features of this test are:
Diagnoses the configuration problems and reporting problems on the WAN LINEs.
Provides the diagnostic information from SWAN CLIP, which also checks the
accessibility to SWAN concentrator.
Tests a single line that uses SWAN. The configuration information is displayed to
TERM, which is assigned to the process. The STATUS DEVICE command and the
STATUS LINE command should display DEVICE and LINE that are in the
STARTED state before executing WANLNCK program.
External Loopback Test
The External Loopback test checks the WAN port pins of SWAN or SWAN 2
concentrator and the connection between SWAN or SWAN 2 concentrator and a local
or a remote modem. The T0465AAF and later SPRs for G-series and the T0465AAG
and later SPRs for H-series of WANLNCK support the External Loopback test for
SWAN and SWAN 2 concentrators.
The features of this test are:
Verifies the WAN port pins and isolates the problem in SWAN concentrator or the
WAN link.
Performs on either the WAN_X or the WAN_Y ports based on the LINE number
passed.
