WANFBT
WANFBT
The WANFBT program provides an option to force a reboot of the SWAN CLIP. The
WANFBT program is compatible with SWAN firmware versions released after
T7953AAG. (T7953AAG does not support WANFBT.)
The WANFBT program does the following:
Forces a reboot which stops all activities on the SWAN CLIP without properly
shutting down.
Forces the SWAN CLIP to run POST (Power-On-Self-Test) routines. The SWAN
CLIP requires 50 to 60 seconds to come back on line.
The WANFBT program requires that the SERVER (STATUS SERVER command) of
the specified CLIP be in the STARTED state.
WANFBT Command Syntax
The WANFBT command has this syntax (only SWAN 2 supports six CLIPs):
HELP
initiates WANFBT help systems.
TRACKID trackid
is an ADAPTER TRACKID string. The string must be enclosed in quotation marks.
CLIPn
selects ON or OFF for rebooting the indicated CLIP. The default is OFF.
WANFBT Command Example
This is an example of a WANFBT command:
WANFBT TRACKID "X017HJ",CLIP1 ON
Note. For all SWAN firmware versions, a quick warm restart can be done by using the SCF
ABORT SERVER command followed by the SCF START SERVER command.
