After the new firmware file has been downloaded and the CLIP has been FIRMED up,
the CLIP should reset itself and boot itself using the new firmware, then make a
BOOTP request. If this routine has not succeeded and the BOOTP request has not
arrived within the stipulated time, you can do the following:
1. Execute the SCF START SERVER command and wait for a BOOTP request to
arrive. If a BOOTP request does not arrive in a reasonable time, then additional
delays or PATH failures have occurred.
2. Check and correct any physical PATH errors and connectivity.
3. If the BOOTP request still has not arrived, powercycle the SWAN as a last resort
and wait for the BOOTP request (SERVER should be in STARTED state).
4. If the BOOTP request has not arrived and the problem persists, contact your HP
service provider.
