Step 1: Unpacking and Inspecting the Shipping
Container
4. Remove the SWAN concentrator and (optionally) the packages containing metric
mounting brackets and screws.
5. Remove the antistatic bag covering the SWAN concentrator. Inspect the SWAN
concentrator for scratches, rust, or other freight damage.
6. Make sure the container has the following items:
•
SWAN concentrator
•
AC power cord
•
One or more Loopback Connectors (optional, as ordered)
•
Metric rack mount kit (optional, as ordered)
One or more interface converter cables (as ordered) will be shipped in a separate
package.
Note. The SWAN concentrator weighs approximately 12 pounds (approximately 5.5
kilograms).
Note. Immediately report any damaged equipment to your HP representative. Failure to
do so may result in the loss of a claim.
