Step 2: Mounting the SWAN Concentrator

The SWAN concentrator can be mounted on a desk or table top or in a 19-inch

Electronic Industry Association (EIA) or metric rack.

Mounting the SWAN Concentrator on a Desk or Table Top

To install the SWAN concentrator on a desk or table top, as shown in Figure 2-2, use

the following procedure:

1. Place the SWAN concentrator right side up on a flat surface where it will be

installed. You can also stack it on top of another SWAN concentrator.

2. The SWAN concentrators may be stacked four high. Stacking more than this

number may cause the SWAN concentrators to topple over due to the weight of the

cables connected to the front panel.
