Step 3: Connecting the Ethernet Cables

When using a customer-supplied, unmanaged switch, HP recommends using the
HP ProCurve 408 switch (J4097B) shown below.
When using a router, see the WAN Subsystem Configuration and Management Manual
for more information. Using a router requires additional configuration.
This figure shows four SWAN concentrators (#S01, #S02, #S03, and #S04) connected
to port A on G4SA G11123 and to port A on G4SA G11124 using two Ethernet
switches.
