Step 6: Powering on the SWAN Concentrator and Executing the
Power-On Self-Test (POST)
Turn the power on by moving the power switch on the rear panel to the 1 (ON)
position. The power-on self-test (POST) starts executing automatically.
The SWAN concentrator has several light emitting diodes (LEDs) on the front panel, as
shown in Figure 2-11.
The activity of the LEDs has meaning while the POST is executing. Table 2-3
describes LED activity; you may want to read this information before you apply power
to the SWAN concentrator.
