Table 2-3. Indicator LEDs (page 1 of 3)
Label Color Meaning
POWER Green The power LED is
On when the power is on.
Off when the power is off.
When the power LED is on, it indicates that power is output by the
power supply in the SWAN concentrator. It does not, however,
indicate whether the voltage level is high enough for the SWAN
concentrator to be operational. If the voltage is too low, there
might be other error indicators; for example, the fault LEDs may
be on.
If the power LED does not come on, the SWAN concentrator
should be replaced.
The voltage specification for the SWAN concentrator is:
Low range: 85 volts AC minimum, 132 volts AC maximum
High range: 170 volts AC minimum, 264 volts AC maximum
47 hz minimum frequency, 63 hz maximum frequency
FAN Amber The fan LED is
On when the fan stops turning.
Off when the fan is turning.
This indicator is deadfront, which means that it is visible only when
on.
The fan LED does not indicate the temperature inside the SWAN
concentrator. If the fan LED turns off, the SWAN concentrator may
or may not overheat. If you discover that this LED is not
operational, the SWAN concentrator should be replaced as soon
as possible.
FAULT Amber There are three fault LEDs, one for each CLIP. The fault LED
Flashes when the SWAN concentrator is powered on and
continues to flash while the condition of the SWAN
concentrator is tested; this should last about one minute. The
test that is executed is the power-on self-test (POST). The
fault LED goes off when the POST successfully completes. If
the fault LED goes to solid, one or more of the POST tests
may not have passed. The fault LEDs may also stay on solid if
the POST never starts. If all three fault LEDs stay on solid, the
SWAN concentrator should be replaced. If any of the three
fault LED continues flashing, the SWAN concentrator should
be replaced as soon as possible.
Can start flashing when a diagnostic task is run.
This indicator is deadfront, meaning it is visible only when on.
