Power On Self-Test (POST)
On completion of the Test Verify action, you must perform the following procedure:
1. Restart the CLIP. Example A-4 shows how to start CLIP 1 for the SWAN
concentrator named S01.
2. Restart the DLC TASK objects on the CLIP. Example A-5 shows how to start the
DLC tasks on CLIP 1 of the SWAN concentrator named S01.
3. Restart the WAN lines. Example A-6 shows how to start two WAN lines named
$X25L1 and $X25L2.
Power On Self-Test (POST)
POST is stored in the non-essential flash PROM. It runs each time the SWAN
concentrator is turned on or when the Test Verify action is initiated in either the OSM
Service Connection or the TSM Service Application.
The power on self-test is described in Step 6: Powering on the SWAN Concentrator
and Executing the Power-On Self-Test (POST) on page 2-21.

Use the Actions dialog box to update an individual CLIP:
1. In OSM, right-click the SWAN collection and select Actions from the shortcut
menu.
