SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. File-system error nnn has occurred on an I/O operation to file filename.
This message appears in the body of the listing, at the point where the error was
detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
corrective action for file-system error nnn.
Cause. File-system error nnn has occurred on an I/O operation with the internal work
file SYSGENc; c is a letter identifying the work file. If PARAM has been used to
specify another name for the SYSGENc file, filename indicates that name. This
message appears in the body of the listing, at the point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
corrective action for file-system error nnn.
Cause. The permanent work file filename specified in the PARAM command already
exists, but is of the wrong type. This message appears in the body of the listing, at the
point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Specify an unstructured, relative, key-sequenced or entry-sequenced file
when you enter the PARAM WORKFILE command. Then rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. In the ALLPROCESSORS paragraph, a file specified as
STANDARD_MICROCODE does not have a file code of 871 or 881. This message
appears in the body of the listing, at the point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Specify a file with the correct file code, and rerun SYSGENR.
