SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. In the ALLPROCESSORS paragraph, the volume or subvolume name for the
system disk is not formatted in a valid form. This message appears in the body of the
listing, at the point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Change the system volume and subvolume name to $volume.SYSnn,
where nn is a user-specified 2-digit octal number in the range %00..%77; for example:
SYSTEM_VOLUME_SUBVOL $SYSTEM.SYS00 ;
Cause. The tape name specified is either an illegal device name or the name for a
nontape device. This message appears on the home terminal.
Effect. SYSGENR waits for a new entry.
Recovery. Correct the name of the tape entered.
Cause. You have given a value other than OFF for the HIGHPIN modifier.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Correct the entry. Either remove the modifier or enter it as HIGHPIN OFF.
Rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. You have configured more than 3639 code segments in system code, system
library, and process library space. This message appears in the body of the listing, at
the point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Gather the items listed on page A-1, then call your service provider.
Cause. An internal error occurred when SYSGENR tried to deallocate virtual memory.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
