SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Recovery. Verify that the file name being referred to is correct. If it is an object file
supplied by HP, gather the items listed on page A-1, then call your service provider.
Cause. You have given a value for PARAM BACKUPONLY other than YES or ON.
Effect. SYSGENR continues to scan the CONFTEXT file, ignoring the PARAM.
Recovery. Specify PARAM BACKUPONLY YES or ON if you want SYSGENR to
create a system image tape (SIT) without issuing a prompt for a system image disk.
Then rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. You have specified an invalid value for PARAM BINDONLY. This message is
displayed on the home terminal.
Effect. SYSGENR continues to scan the CONFTEXT file, ignoring the PARAM.
Recovery. If you meant to specify a legal PARAM BINDONLY value, stop SYSGENR
and begin it again after entering a correct PARAM command.
Cause. You have specified an invalid value for PARAM REUSEDP2. This message is
displayed on the home terminal.
Effect. SYSGENR continues to scan the CONFTEXT file, ignoring the PARAM.
Recovery. If you meant to specify a legal PARAM REUSEDP2 value, stop SYSGENR
and begin it again after entering a correct PARAM command.
Cause. You have specified an invalid value for PARAM REUSESYSFILES. This
message is displayed on the home terminal.
Effect. SYSGENR continues to scan the CONFTEXT file, ignoring the PARAM.
Recovery. If you meant to specify a legal PARAM REUSESYSFILES value, stop
SYSGENR and begin it again after entering a correct PARAM command.
