SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. You have specified an invalid value for PARAM REUSETEMPLATES. This 
message is displayed on the home terminal. 
Effect. SYSGENR continues to scan the CONFTEXT file, ignoring the PARAM.
Recovery. If you meant to specify a legal PARAM REUSETEMPLATES value, stop 
SYSGENR and begin it again after entering a correct PARAM command.
Cause. You have given a value for PARAM SECURENUNU other than YES or ON. 
This message is displayed on the home terminal. 
Effect. SYSGENR continues to scan the CONFTEXT file, ignoring the PARAM.
Recovery. Specify PARAM YES or ON if you want SYSGENR to change the security 
for the files it creates. Then rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. You have specified an incorrect tape density in the PARAM DENSITY 
command. The valid values are 800 or |NRZI, 1600 or PE, or 6250 or GCR. This 
message is displayed on the home terminal. 
Effect. SYSGENR uses the default for that tape drive (unless you override it at the 
prompt for the system image tape) and continues to scan the CONFTEXT file.
Recovery. Give a correct value at the prompt for the SIT.
Cause. You have specified an invalid value for the PARAM TAPEMODE command. 
The valid values are STARTSTOP or STREAM. This message is displayed on the 
home terminal. 
Effect. SYSGENR issues a warning message. SYSGENR uses the default for that 
tape drive (unless you override it at the prompt for the system image tape) and 
continues to scan the CONFTEXT file.
Recovery. Give the correct value at the prompt for the SIT.

IGNORED
INVALID PARAM SECURENUNU SPECIFIED. PARAM WILL BE IGNORED.
INVALID PARAM VALUE FOR DENSITY. DEFAULT WILL BE USED
