SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. An internal error occurred. SYSGENR has tried to assign a PIN that has
already been used.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Gather the items listed on page A-1, then call your service provider.
Cause. You have specified a different density or tape mode at the prompt for a system
image tape (SIT) from the one you specified in an earlier PARAM DENSITY or
TAPEMODE command.
Effect. SYSGENR uses the most recently specified density or tape mode value.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
Cause. A Binder error has occurred; the Binder message appears earlier in the listing
or was displayed on the home terminal during the Binder run. This message appears
in the body of the listing, at the point where SYSGENR detected the error.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Correct the problem reported by Binder and rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. The TEMPLI process has run and terminated with an error. An error message
from TEMPLI appears in the CONFLIST listing.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Correct the error condition and rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. The XLLINK process has run and terminated with an error. An error message
from XLLINK appears in the CONFLIST listing.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Correct the error condition and rerun SYSGENR. XLLINK messages are
documented in Appendix B, XLLINK Messages.
