SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. SYSGENR has detected file-system error nnn while reading from $RECEIVE.
This message appears in the body of the listing, at the point where the error was
detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
corrective action for file-system error nnn.
Cause. In the DEFINES paragraph entry, descriptor contains its own name in its
definition, or it contains the name of another descriptor that similarly refers to
descriptor in its definition. This message appears in the body of the listing, at the
point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Correct the loop and rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. The ASSIGN SYSGEN^XLLINK command specifies a remote system that
does not respond with a valid status. Either the system name is incorrect or the
system is down.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Verify whether the system is accessible on the network or correct the
ASSIGN. Then rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. Although PIN 255 is supposed to be reserved, an error has occurred and
SYSGENR found it assigned to a process.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Gather the items listed on page A-1, then call your service provider.
