SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. Spooler error %nn has occurred on a write operation to the spooler. This
message is printed on the home terminal and in the SYSGENR output.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Create an Inspect saveabend file. Gather the items listed on page A-1,
then call your service provider.
Cause. SYSGENR cannot find the SWID object file in the location specified by an
ASSIGN SYSGEN^SWID command (entered by an operator or DSM/SCM).
Effect. This is a warning. SYSGENR continues to normal completion if there are no
other errors. However, object-file fingerprints are not recorded in the OSCONFIG file.
Recovery. If SWID is not installed on the system, install it (if fingerprinting is desired).
If SWID is present in another subvolume, either point to it with an ASSIGN
SYSGEN^SWID command or copy the SWID object file to $SYSTEM.SYSTEM. If
fingerprinting is not desired, ignore this warning message.
Cause. The CONFTEXT file entry is not in proper form. This message appears in the
body of the listing, at the point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Correct the CONFTEXT file entry.
Cause. You have attempted to run SYSGENR on an old NonStop system whose
TOSVERSION is less than “K”. This message appears in the body of the listing, at the
point where the error was detected.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Use SYSGENR on a NonStop system.
