SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. You have not specified a configuration file in the command to run SYSGENR,
or you have specified the home terminal in place of a configuration file. However, you
cannot run SYSGENR interactively. This message appears on the home terminal.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. You must supply a configuration file in the command to run SYSGENR.
Cause. You have entered a PARAM EXTENTSIZE command that specified too few
pages for the SYSGENA work file. The value must be at least 100.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Either increase the number of pages assigned, or clear the PARAM.
SYSGENR automatically allocates more extents to SYSGENA as needed.
Cause. Due to an error, SYSGENR has been unable to build the name file.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Gather the items listed on page A-1, then call your service provider.
Cause. When reusing previously built files for system code and system library, either
(1) you have entered an ASSIGN SYSCOD00 command on a file containing more than
one segment, or (2) the first file in the SYSTEM_LIBRARY_CODE_FILES entry of the
CONFTEXT or CONFAUX file contains more than one segment. The result was to
supply for system code the file meant for system library.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Either (1) specify the multisegment system library file in the ASSIGN
SYSLIB00 command and the single-segment system code file in the ASSIGN
SYSCOD00 command, or (2) list the single-segment system code file first in the
SYSTEM_LIBRARY_CODE_FILES entry of the CONFTEXT or CONFAUX file.
