SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. The native linker (NLD) has terminated in a way that is not expected by
SYSGENR.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Check the listing file for the cause of the termination, and fix it.
Cause. The TEMPLI process has terminated unexpectedly. TEMPLI puts out an error
message in the CONFLIST listing.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Correct the error condition that caused TEMPLI to fail, and rerun
SYSGENR.
Cause. XLLINK has terminated in a way that is not expected by SYSGENR.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. Check the XLLINK listing in the CONFLIST file for the cause of the
termination and correct it. Then rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. The DISKGEN operation failed for reasons unknown to SYSGENR.
One cause may be that SYSGENR is unable to access its home terminal. To identify
the home terminal, use the following command: PATHCOM $YPHI; INFO CB-001. To
check whether the home terminal is available, try to do a FUP COPY operation to it. If
the FUP COPY operation hangs or returns a file-system error 140 or 110, the home
terminal is not accessible.
Effect. SYSGENR terminates.
Recovery. To make the home terminal accessible, do the following:
1. Move to the ZDSMSCM subvolume:
VOLUME [$volume.]ZDSMSCM
2. Shut down the SCM environment:
RUN STOPSCM
