XLLINK Message Descriptions

Cause. $volume
does not have enough free space to hold the XLLINK output file.
XLLINK requires about 25 megabytes of disk swap space.
Effect. XLLINK terminates.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
corrective action. If you receive this error as a result of there being insufficient swap
volume space, you need to enter a SET SWAP $newvol command to point to a disk
with additional space before you run SYSGENR.

Cause. XLLINK cannot read filename because of file-system error nnn.
Effect. XLLINK terminates.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
corrective action for file-system error nnn. If you are supplying your own code for
system code or system library, make sure that filename was not damaged from
copying it across the network or was not corrupted in some other way. Then rerun
SYSGENR.

Cause. XLLINK cannot write its output to filename because of file-system error
nnn. You must not run XLLINK outside of SYSGENR.
Effect. XLLINK does not produce an executable object file.
Recovery. If you receive this message when running DSM/SCM or SYSGENR, gather
the items listed on page B-1
, then call your service provider.

Cause. When you ran XLLINK, you did not supply a TNS file on either the command
line or in a command file. You must not run XLLINK outside of SYSGENR.
Effect. XLLINK does not produce an accelerated object file.
Disk $volume is full.
Error reading file filename. Guardian error nnn.
Error writing file filename. Tandem NonStop error nnn.
No TNS object file was provided.
