SYSGENR Message Descriptions
Cause. The swap volume and the default volume (or just the default volume, if you did
not give a swap volume) have ALLOCATESEGMENT file-system errors when
attempting to allocate an extended segment. If error 43 (unable to obtain disk space
for file extent) is returned on the volume listed, SYSGENR first tries to use the swap
volume and, if it fails, tries the default volume. If that too fails, this error message is
given. $vol is the swap volume, if specified, and nnn is the file-system error the swap
volume received.
Effect. SYSGENR finishes scanning the CONFTEXT file and then terminates.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
corrective action for file-system error nnn. Use the SET SWAP command
(documented in the TACL Reference Manual) to change your default swap volume to
allow more space prior to running SYSGENR. Then rerun SYSGENR.
Cause. An error has been detected during an attempt to interface to SWID. This
warning is reported to the home terminal and is printed to the output file at the end of
the SYSGENR run.
Effect. SYSGENR issues this WARNING and continues.
Recovery. If object file fingerprints are desired, run SYSGENR again after correcting
the problem in the original error message or messages.
Cause. The procedure procname has an attribute word missing from its run-time
procedure descriptor record (RPDR) table. NLD is responsible for putting the RPDR
table in the file.
Effect. SYSGENR continues.
Recovery. Gather the items listed on page A-1, then call your service provider.
ALLOCATESEGMENT ERROR nnn ON VOLUME $vol. USE DIFFERENT SWAP
VOLUME.
AN ERROR OCCURRED TRYING TO ACCESS SWID SO FINGERPRINTS WERE
NOT OBTAINED FOR FILES IN THE OSIMAGE.
