Tandem Capacity Model (TCM) Manual

To calibrate Batch Response Time:
1. Open a Performance model.
2. Select Update > Calibrate Batch Response Time. The Calibrate Batch Response Time dialog
box appears.
3. Select the batch transaction name to calibrate from the list.
4. Enter the observed response time in the Calibrate Batch Response Time dialog box or accept
the defaults. You can enter hours, minutes, and seconds.
5. Click OK.
TCM adjusts its estimated response times in the Performance model by factors that reflect observed
response times.
Uncalibrate Transaction
You can reverse the calibration process and revert to the TCM predicted response times.
To uncalibrate Batch Response Time:
1. Open a Performance model.
2. Select Update > Calibrate Batch Response Time. The Calibrate Batch Response Time dialog
box appears.
3. Click the Uncalibrate Transaction check box.
4. Click OK.
TCM reverses the calibration process and reverts to the TCM predicted response times.
