PROGRAM_START_REQ Record
In Figure B-4, the time specified in the request timeout control record has elapsed before
the TLOGMGR could process the request. As a result, the request is aborted, and a
termination message is sent to the terminal with a sense code indicating to the user that
permission has been denied.
Internal Formats
This subsection provides information about how the ILOGMGR communicates with a
TLOGMGR using the following records:

PROGRAM_START_REQ (Program Start Request)
•
PROGRAM_START_REPLY (Program Start Reply)
•
PROGRAM_START_ABORT (Program Start Abort)
PROGRAM_START_REQ Record
The PROGRAM_START_REQ is sent from an ILOGMGR to a TLOGMGR to request
that a session be started between a Tandem application, as the PLU, and a terminal or
IBM application, as the SLU. Table B-1 shows the format of the
PROGRAM_START_REQ record.
