6. Decode the response.
7. Take appropriate action and return to Step 2, if necessary.
8. Terminate communication with SCP or the EMS distributor process.
All data communications subsystems must use the same message protocol to
communicate with SCP. For details on this protocol, refer to the Communications
Management Programming Manual and the Distributed Systems Management (DSM)
Programming Manual. For general information about communicating with the EMS
distributor process, refer to the Event Management Service (EMS) Manual.
