INFO PROCESS Command for TCP6MAN
The default value is %H00000000.
PORT-SHARE-ENABLE
When set to ON allows applications running on different processors to bind to the
same UDP or TCP port with different local address specifications. For example, a
specific address versus INADDR_ANY.
Before G06.24 RVU, Parallel Library TCP/IP and TCP/IPv6 products are not
allowed to bind, if an application binds to a local port and does not specify a local
address, and in the same processor another application binding to the same local
port and specifies a local address. However, in different processors, Parallel
Library TCP/IP and TCP/IPv6 products will sucessfully bind. This behavior can be
allowed in G06.24 RVU if the application sets the socket option,
SO_REUSEADDR.
Before G06.24 RVU, the default behavior for the Parallel Library TCP/IP and
TCP/IPv6 products was equivalent to the socket option, SO_REUSEADDR, set to
ON with the applications on different processors. Starting from G06.24 RVU, the
default SCF attribute PORT-SHARE-ENABLE is set to OFF which is the standard
behavior for most TCP/IP implementations.
INFO MON With OBEYFORM Display Format
The format of the display for INFO MON *, OBEYFORM is:
INFO PROCESS Command for TCP6MAN
The INFO PROCESS command displays the current attribute values for the TCP6MAN
process. The INFO PROCESS display is the same as INFO PROCESS, DETAIL.
Note. The ICMP-FILTER-PKTS attribute is supported only on systems running G06.29
and later G-series RVUs.
