Logical-Network Partitioning (LNP)
If you want to have application isolation on specific interfaces in the NonStop TCP/IPv6
environment, you must configure the NonStop TCP/IPv6 subsystem to use LNP. By
configuring LNP, you can configure applications to use TCP6SAM processes the same
way you could configure applications to use conventional TCP/IP processes.
For LNP, you define the SUBNET object by listing TCP6SAM processes (a maximum
of two in any but the default partition), add those TCP6SAM processes, and define
them as the transport-service providers for the applications you want associated with
them. Using LNP, you can limit access to SUBNETs configured on an LNP (Figure 2-7
on page 2-9).
