Programming With the TCP6SAM Socket Provider
Programming With the TCP6SAM Socket
Provider
Applications rely on the transport-service provider for making socket requests. An
application programmer can specify either the conventional TCP/IP or the NonStop
TCP/IPv6 environment by choosing the appropriate transport-service provider.
To select the NonStop TCP/IPv6 environment, see How to Access NonStop TCP/IPv6
on page 2-20.
If you are using Logical-Network Partitioning (LNP), be sure to select the correct
TCP6SAM process. To do this, you must know which IP address to use, then find the
TCP6SAM process associated with that IP address by entering the INFO SUBNET
$ZZTCP.*.* command to get a list of all SUBNETs, and then the INFO SUBNET
$ZZTCP.*. subnet-name, detail command to get the transport-service provider
names as shown (this example shows output from just one monitor):
-> INFO SUBNET $ZZTCP.#ZPTM0.SN1, DETAIL
