This manual has been updated to reflect support of a new PARAM that is used to bind
Telserv to an IP address. This feature is supported for J06.09 and subsequent J-series
RVUs and H06.20 and subsequent H-series RVUs. See Table 3-1, Telserv Parameter
Names and Values in the TACL PARAM Command, on page 3-2 and Binding Telserv to
an IP Address on page 3-14. The PARAM, ZTNT^SEND^WAKEUP^TACL has also
been added and a correction was made to the ZTNT^KEEPALIVE^OFF parameter.
See Table 3-1, Telserv Parameter Names and Values in the TACL PARAM Command,
on page 3-2 for these changes.
The previous edition of this manual, 427174-006, also added support of the CIP
subsystem throughout the manual, whereever NonStop TCP/IP processes are
discussed. The only technical difference from a Telserv perspective pertains to network
partitions. This is explained in Special Consideration for Users of Logical Network
Partitions and PROVIDERS on page 3-14. Change bars for the previous edition have
been retained in this edition of the manual.
