Telserv Parameter Names and Values for the TACL
PARAM Command
ZTNT^SENDBRK^ON^DISCONN Specifies whether or not a break message is sent
to the break owner when a session terminates. V
The syntax is:
PARAM ZTNT^SENDBRK^ON^DISCONN
(YES|NO)
Values are YES or NO. The default value is NO.
A break message is sent to the break owner only if
all of the following conditions are true:
This PARAM is set to YES.
There is no outstanding request.
There is only one opener and that opener is a
Guardian application.
The window is not a resilient window.
Sending a break message should cause the break
owner to issue an I/O and, after receiving an error
140 message, to perform an appropriate recovery.
In the case of TACL, this takes approximately ten
seconds.
ZTNT^SEND^WAKEUP^TACL Allows the Telserv process to send a wakeup
message to all the hanging TACL processes, which
are not started from the service menu, when the
associated Terminal is closed. Setting the PARAM
ZTNT^SEND^WAKEUP^TACL to YES enables
this behavior.
The syntax is:
PARAM ZTNT^SEND^WAKEUP^TACL (YES|NO)
The DEFAULT value is ON. When the PARAM
value is set to NO or is allowed to defaut, Telserv
does not send any wake message to hanging
TACL processes. These hanging TACL processes
can be stopped manually.
