Using TFDSCOM Commands

HELP
ON
turns on FMD. This value is the default if your system has a processor size greater
than 2 gigabytes.
OFF
turns off FMD. This value is the default if your system does not have a processor
size greater than 2 gigabytes.
Guidelines

You can use the abbreviation fd in place of FMDUMP.
•
As the name implies, the FMD feature speeds up the dumping of halted
processors. Disabling this feature significantly increases the amount of time the
halted processor is unavailable to the system.

The HELP command displays the syntax for TFDSCOM commands.
HELP
displays a list of all TFDSCOM commands.
HELP command
displays a brief description of all TFDSCOM commands.
HELP document
displays detailed information for all TFDSCOM commands.
HELP command_name
displays information for the specified command. You can also enter an abbreviation
instead of the entire command name.
