PROCESSINGDELAY
PROCESSINGDELAY
The PROCESSINGDELAY command instructs TFDS to wait a specific number of
seconds before it starts the analysis and possible dump of a down processor due to
software failure.
time
is the delay in seconds. Seconds can range from 0 through 86400. The default
value is 1.
Guidelines
•
You can use the abbreviation pd in place of PROCESINGDELAY.
•
The TFDS default time allows other processes to get access to the processor for
data gathering.
PURGE
The PURGE command purges the files associated with incident number rec-num.
rec-num
is a record number in the incident database. To obtain a record number, use the
REPORT command.
Guidelines
•
You can use the abbreviation pu in place of PURGE.
•
If a record is in the NOT BACKED UP state, you are prompted to confirm the
deletion.
•
If the files cannot be purged, an error message appears.
If this situation occurs, use the REPORT command to find the files and invoke
FILEINFO to identify any possible errors. For more information on FILEINFO, see
the Guardian User’s Guide.
•
Before you can purge an original incident record, you must close all of the
recurrent problem files associated with it.
