Rule Management Services (RMS)
To disable the processor dump and reload capabilities within RMS:
1. If you are not already in NonStop NET/MASTER NARS, log on to it.
After a successful logon, a primary menu panel lets you select Rule Maintenance
within RMS.
2. Select Rule Maintenance by typing R.6 (at any => prompt) and press Enter.
The RMS: Rule Maintenance Panel appears.
3. Type 1 at the Select Option prompt, type BASERULE in the Ruleset data field, and
press Enter.
The RMS: Message Action Rules Maintenance Panel appears.
4. Type IN next to the ZCPUDOWN rule name (ID) and press Enter.
This action inactivates the RMS CPU DOWN rule.
5. Press the F4 key to return to the RMS primary menu.
6. Press the F4 key to return to the NonStop NET/MASTER NARS primary menu.
Note. If NonStop NET/MASTER NARS is not running, you must activate it from the Operator
Control Services (OCS) screen by typing ZNARSTRZ. NonStop NET/MASTER NARS must be
activated before you can begin to disable processing for CPU DOWN events.
