UPSHIFT Command Use the UPSHIFT command to convert lowercase alphabetic characters to uppercase
characters.
The syntax of the UPSHIFT command is:
UPSHIFT
ON
OFF
ON
converts all characters to uppercase.
OFF
stops converting characters to uppercase
Considerations
The last UPSHIFT command on a page determines the action for that page and the
following pages. To stop converting characters, put the UPSHIFT command after
the next NEW command or some other page breaks.
If you do not use this command, TGAL assumes:
UPSHIFT OFF
Example
This example shows using the UPSHIFT command to print a document in all
uppercase letters. TGAL continues printing in uppercase letters until it reaches the
UPSHIFT OFF command. If you enter:
\UPSHIFT ON
TGAL produces:
