EXIT Command Use the EXIT command to terminate an interactive session with TGAL. You can also
terminate an interactive sessions using a CTRL-Y (while holding down the CTRL key,
press Y). TGAL automatically terminates when it reaches the end of an EDIT file.
The syntax of the EXIT command is:

You can include the EXIT command anywhere in an EDIT file.
Running TGAL interactively lets you try our TGAL commands, see the TGAL
banner describing the version of TGAL currently running, produce quick
announcements or letters that you do not want to save, and print several files
using the IN command.
When you run TGAL interactively, that is, without specifying the IN file, TGAL
returns a period, prompting you for a line of text or a command. Each time you
press return, TGAL prompts you with another period. When you type enough to
complete one page, TGAL prints that page either at the printer specified in the
OUT option or on your terminal. TGAL then prompts you for another line of text
or command.
