PAGELEN Command Use the PAGELEN command to define the number of lines on each page. You can
specify any number between 13 and 90. The minimum number of lines on each page
changes depending on the settings of the TOPMARGIN and BOTTOMMARGIN
commands. There must be space to accommodate at least one line of text. A
PAGELEN of 13 allows for the minimum of six lines necessary for the top margin and
the six lines necessary for the bottom margin plus one line of text.
The PAGELEN command only tells TGAL to change the number of lines to be printed
on a page. This command does not change the size of the paper, and it does not adjust
the printer.
The syntax of the PAGELEN command is:
PAGELEN
number
number
is the number of lines on each page.
Considerations
If you do not change the page length or the top and bottom margins, TGAL prints
54 lines of text on a page and allows for the 12 lines for the top and bottom
margins.
If you do not use this command, TGAL assumes:
PAGELEN 66
Examples
