ALTER DUMPS
ZTMF-MAP-ALTER-DUMPS
is an extensible structured token specifying the attributes of the dump to be
changed. This token is required; only one occurrence is allowed. This token
contains the following fields:
ZSERIAL

token is omitted, all generations of the dump are changed.
ZDUMPINVALID
specifies whether a dump file is available for file recovery. The following
values are valid:
ZRELEASED
specifies whether the specified dumps are available for file recovery. The
following values are valid:
ZSPI-TKN-TRUE
The dump is marked RELEASED. This option changes the entries for the
specified dumps to indicate you no longer need these dumps. Use this
option when recent dumps exist in the catalog but have been damaged or
marked as deleted.
ZSPI-TKN-FALSE
The dump is marked ASSIGNED. This option changes the entries for the
specified dumps to indicate that you want these dumps to remain available.
Use this option if TMF has marked a dump for deletion from the catalog,
but you still want to be able to use that dump.
If the catalog shows only one valid dump for a given serial number, and you
release that dump, the entire dump serial number is removed from the catalog.
