ALTER TMF
ZTransProtocol
determines the protocol that TMF uses to flush transactions upon their 
completion. The following values are valid:
Usage Guidelines
Only super-group users can issue this command. TMF must be stopped before you 
issue this command.

 ZTMF-VAL-TransProto-MMI Specifies a potentially more 
efficient flush protocol than the 
standard protocol. For MMI, only 
the processors that are 
participating in a transaction are 
contacted during the transactionās 
completion. By reducing the 
number of processors contacted, 
this protocol can improve 
performance on systems where 
many processors are configured 
but only a few of those processors 
are involved in any given 
transaction.
 ZTMF-VAL-TransProto-Standard Specifies the standard flush 
protocol, where all processors in 
the system are contacted during a 
transactionās completion. This 
value is the default.
