DUMP FILES
ZTMF-TKN-ExtFileName
specifies the file at which the online dump begins. You can specify a wild card (*)
in the file-name or subvolume fields, but not in the volume field.
If you specify an asterisk in the file-name field, the dump starts at the beginning of
the subvolume. If you specify an asterisk in the subvolume field, the dump starts at
the beginning of the volume. To avoid dumping the entire database, you should
specify a fully qualified file name.
If you omit this field, TMF dumps the entire file set.
ZTMF-TKN-FilesetDefault
contains the defaults to be used if any entry within a file of filenames is not fully
qualified.
This token is required if either the ZTMF-TKN-Fileset or ZTMF-TKN-NotFileset
token contains the name of a file of filenames.
ZTMF-MAP-Dump-Files
is an extensible structured token specifying the attributes of the dumps to be
copied. This token is required; only one occurrence is allowed. This token
contains the following fields:
ZCopies
for dumps to tape, specifies the number of parallel copies made of each online
dump. Valid values are 1 or 2; the default is 1.
If you specify a value of 1, only one tape drive is required and the copy is
directed to that drive. If you specify a value of 2, two tape drives are required
and the copies are always produced in parallel, not serial, order.
A value of 2 is recommended in case one tape cannot be read because of a
tape media failure, or if each copy of the dump requires multiple tape volumes.
