Descriptions of Event Messages
Effect
The file-creation operation is retried, and transaction processing continues. When the
active audit trail becomes too full, however, transaction processing with that audit trail
ceases until a rollover can be performed successfully.
Recommended Action
Determine why the preallocated file could not be created (look at some of the
preceding messages in the EMS log for clues), and then correct the problem.
If the problem persists, contact your service provider and provide all relevant
information as follows:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the messages generated
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and a CPU dump, if applicable
If your local operating procedures require contacting the Global Customer Support
Center (GCSC), supply your system number and the numbers and versions of all
related products.
