AUTOABORT The length of time that a transaction can run before TMF
automatically aborts it.
RECRMCOUNT For heterogeneous transactions, the maximum number of
recoverable resource managers that can be registered for
the entire TMF system (spanning a single EXPAND node).
RMOPENPERCPU The maximum number of recoverable and/or volatile
resource managers that can be open for each CPU.
BRANCHESPERRM The maximum number of transaction branches that can be
imported or exported concurrently by each recoverable or
volatile resource manager.
Note. The RECRMCOUNT, RMOPENPERCPU, and BRANCHESPERRM fields shown at the
end of Table 1-4 apply to resource managers used in heterogeneous transactions supported
by HP products such as the NonStop TUXEDO system. Heterogeneous transactions involve
multiple transaction managers running on multiple platforms. Although TMFCOM and the
TMFSERVE programmatic interface provide TMF commands and options for operating on
resource managers, these commands are intended for users with extensive knowledge about
heterogeneous transaction processing. These commands and options are described in the
TMF Reference Manual and the TMF Management Programming Manual.
