ALTER TAPEMEDIA
Security Restrictions
You can issue the ALTER TAPEMEDIA command only if you are a member of the
super user group.
TMF State Requirement
Before you can enter the ALTER TAPEMEDIA command, TMF must be started.
Examples
The following ALTER TAPEMEDIA command changes the status of the tape volume
TMF006 to indicate that this volume should not be used:
TMF 71> ALTER TAPEMEDIA TMF006, STATUS BAD
The INFO TAPEMEDIA command displays the new status:
TMF 72> INFO TAPEMEDIA
