RESET DUMPS
RESET DUMPS
The RESET DUMPS command removes (clears) online and audit dump specifications,
canceling the effects of previous SET DUMPS commands. This clearing by RESET
DUMPS is local to your current session and affects only ADD DUMPS commands
subsequently issued within this session.
DISKMEDIA
removes any DISKMEDIA specification; thus, no disk volume is identified on which
the online dump is stored.
SERIAL
removes any SERIAL specification; thus, no serial number is identified for the
dump added to the catalog.
TAPEMEDIA
removes any TAPEMEDIA specification; thus, no tape volume is identified on
which the online dump is stored.
TYPE
removes the TYPE specification; thus, the type of dump (online or audit) is not
identified.
*
removes all dump specifications controlled by RESET DUMP (that is, the
DISKMEDIA, SERIAL, TAPEMEDIA, and TYPE specifications).
Security Restrictions
Anyone can issue the RESET DUMPS command.
