RESET DUMPS
Usage Guidelines
The clearing of specifications by RESET DUMPS is local to your current session only,
and is not propagated to TMFSERVE. This clearing affects only ADD DUMPS
commands issued subsequently within your session and ceases to apply when your
session ends.
If TAPEMEDIA is accidentally set for a dump to disk operation, enter RESET DUMPS
TAPEMEDIA to clear it.
If DISKMEDIA is accidentally set for a dump to tape operation, enter RESET DUMPS
DISKMEDIA to clear it.
Example
The following RESET DUMPS command clears the SERIAL specification:
TMF 91> RESET DUMPS SERIAL
The next RESET DUMPS command clears all dump specifications:
TMF 92> RESET DUMPS *
Note. You must establish values for the SERIAL and TYPE entries and for either the
DISKMEDIA or the TAPEMEDIA entry. Default values are not allowed for these entries.
Therefore, if you enter a RESET DUMPS command for any of these entries, you must
subsequently respecify them in a new ADD DUMPS
or SET DUMPS command.
