SHOW DATAVOLS
SHOW DATAVOLS
The SHOW DATAVOLS command displays the attribute values established by SET
DATAVOLS commands in the current TMFCOM session. If no SET DATAVOLS
command was issued during the session, the SHOW DATAVOLS command presents
no information.
AUDITTRAIL
displays the AUDITTRAIL setting, indicating the audit trail to which the newly
added data volumes send their audit records.
RECOVERYMODE
displays the RECOVERYMODE setting, indicating whether the audit-trail files
associated with the volume are held on disk until they are no longer needed for
volume recovery.

displays all attribute values established by the SET DATAVOLS command in this
session. If you do not specify any option, this is the default.
Security Restrictions
Anyone can enter the SHOW DATAVOLS command.
TMF State Requirement
You can enter the SHOW DATAVOLS command at any time, whether or not TMF has
been started.
Usage Guideline
If no attribute is specified, the SHOW DATAVOLS command displays the values of all
attributes set by SET DATAVOLS commands during this session.
Output Displayed
The SHOW DATAVOLS command displays the values of two attributes: AUDITTRAIL
and RECOVERYMODE. For details about these attributes, see the ADD DATAVOLS
or SET DATAVOLS command description.
