SHOW TAPEMEDIA
SHOW TAPEMEDIA
The SHOW TAPEMEDIA command displays the attribute values established by SET
TAPEMEDIA commands in the current TMFCOM session.
DENSITY
displays the DENSITY setting, indicating the density at which tape volumes are
written.
DRIVE
displays the DRIVE setting, indicating the tape drive on which tape volumes are
written.
LABEL
displays the LABEL setting, indicating whether tape volumes are labeled.
STATUS
displays the STATUS setting, indicating the status of the tape volumes as
ASSIGNED, BAD, RELEASED, or SCRATCH.
UNLOAD
displays the UNLOAD setting, indicating whether the tape volume is unloaded after
it is labeled, or remains loaded.
SHOW TAPEMEDIA [attribute [, attribute]...]

where attribute is:
[DENSITY ]
[DRIVE ]
[LABEL ]
[STATUS ]
[UNLOAD ]
Note. The following SHOW TAPEMEDIA parameters are only valid when LABEL is
specified:

•
DRIVE
•
UNLOAD
These parameters are not valid (and are ignored) if LABEL is omitted.
