STATUS DATAVOLS
DISABLEDDIRTY
indicates configured volumes that are disabled, but for which normal shutdown
processing did not complete successfully. A volume enters the disabledirty
state if it is disabled by a DISABLE DATAVOLS command that includes the
ABRUPT option.
When TMF cannot determine whether a volume is clean, TMF assumes that it
is dirty. Audited files on a dirty volume can contain both logical and physical
inconsistencies, but these are typically repaired by volume recovery when the
volume is restarted.
UNCONFIGURED
indicates disk volumes that are not configured as TMF data volumes or TMF
audit trail volumes.
WRONGDISKMOUNTED
indicates volumes for which the physical disk does not match the one
configured for TMF (even though the volume name is the same).
AUDITTRAIL {MASTER | MAT }
{AUX[ILIARY]nn}
displays information about only those data volumes that send their audit
information to the specified audit trail. MASTER or MAT specifies the master audit
trail. AUXILIARYnn or AUXnn specifies an auxiliary audit trail. nn is a two-digit
number ranging from 01 through 15 that specifies one of the 15 potential auxiliary
audit trails in the configuration. (When the value of nn is 09 or less, you must
specify the leading zero in this value.)
If this attribute is not specified, information is displayed about data volumes that
send audit records to any audit trail.
RECOVERYMODE {ONLINE | ARCHIVE}
displays information for only those data volumes that have been assigned the
recovery mode (either online or archive) that you specify in this parameter.
SORT {BYATID | BYNAME}
displays the data volume information in the order indicated:
BYATID
lists data volumes first by audit-trail ID and then alphabetically by data volume
name.
BYNAME
lists the data volumes by name, in alphabetical order. If the SORT parameter
is omitted, this option is the default.
